BIO

Sahba Shere is a San Francisco/Bay Area + Palm Springs based artist whose work is both inspired by and acts as a portal to the world around her. From the fall of dawn across Angkor Wat to the resonant tones meditation affords, Shere’s paintings speak through and of transcendental, experimental realms.

Her work is at once familiar and distinct, drawing upon recognizable markers of land, water, and sky, yet in simultaneous abstract and granular fashion. The resulting art objects evoke a sense of rumination and recollection. They are honest, tranquil and genuine.

Shere’s work can be found in private collections, art galleries, universities, luxury hotels, corporations, and public venues across the globe.

She is also sought after for commissions and honored to have created unique works for art collectors including Art in Embassies, Patricia Clarkson ( NYC), Yale University ( New Haven) and Harvard University ( Cambridge), Apple, Google, and Linkedin ( Silicon Valley), and Hilton Hotels ( Bangalore), among others.

With solo and group shows in New York City, Newport Beach, and Palo Alto, Shere’s ever-expanding calendar of exhibitions, installations, and artist’s talks can be viewed here. She recently completed an Artist-in-Residence École de Paris Arts - L’AiR Arts + Cité Falguière Association Montparnasse, Paris, France.
