BIO

Sahba Shere is a visual artist whose abstract, mixed-media paintings explore the emotional and energetic landscapes of lived experience. Inspired by nature, meditation, and the rich cultural diversity of the world, her works function as “Mindscapes”—intuitive reflections of internal states and external environments. Her process embraces experimentation and spontaneity, allowing materials, gesture, and energy to guide each piece, inviting viewers into spaces of reflection that can spark deeper dialogue and personal connection.

Based in the Bay Area, Shere maintains studios in Palo Alto and Palm Springs. She has exhibited locally, nationally, and internationally, with recent presentations at the Perez Arts District in Palm Springs, Santa Clarita City Hall, the U.S. Ambassador’s Residence in Sofia, Bulgaria (Art in Embassies program), and was an Artist-in-Residence at École de Paris Arts - L’AiR Arts + Cité Falguière Association Montparnasse, Paris, France. Her work has been featured in exhibitions at Spring/Break Art Show in New York, Joshua Tree Gallery of Contemporary Art, and McEvoy Ranch in Sonoma, and is held in numerous public and private collections including Yale University, Harvard University, Apple, Google, LinkedIn, Hilton Hotels, and Art in Embassies.

In addition to her studio practice, Shere is the founder of Sahba Salons, a nomadic community and event series that brings together artists, scholars, scientists, and thinkers to uplift underrepresented voices and catalyze meaningful exchange. Hosted in her Palo Alto and Palm Springs studios, the Salons center experimentation, curiosity, and collective visioning—offering an intimate platform for connection and cultural impact.
