SAHBA'S SALON
Sahba's Salon is a nomadic community and event series that brings together intrepid artists, scholars, scientists, and thinkers to celebrate and uplift the work of diverse and often under-represented creatives. Events are hosted approximately four times per year in Sahba's Palo Alto and Palm Springs studios and typically feature a talk by a featured artist, writer, performer, or thinker followed by an open conversation. Through the lively exchange of ideas and support, Sahba's Salon strives to be a catalyst for passionate individuals to realize their vision and inspire us all along the way.
Sahba’s Salon returns October 19th with special guest Bridget Quinn!
Bridget is a brilliant art historian whose recent book, Portrait of a Woman, was described by Publishers Weekly as “a deliciously inventive biography of Adélaïde Labille-Guiard (1749–1803), an overlooked portraitist for the family of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette.”
During this discussion, we’ll use her book as a prompt to discuss the ever-essential need for women to support each other.
