SAHBA SALONS
Sahba Salons is a nomadic community and event series that brings together intrepid artists, scholars, scientists, and thinkers to celebrate and uplift the work of diverse and often under-represented creatives. Events are hosted approximately four times per year in Sahba's Palo Alto and Palm Springs studios and typically feature a talk by a featured artist, writer, performer, or thinker followed by an open conversation. Through the lively exchange of ideas and support, Sahba Salons strives to be a catalyst for passionate individuals to realize their vision and inspire us all along the way.
This special SAHBA Salon featured the remarkable work of International Medical Corp, a global nonprofit whose work I'm proud to support. We screened their new film "War & Grace" - a documentary that celebrates courageous midwives fighting for mothers and infants in war-torn South Sudan and honors the frontline health workers across the globe who put their lives at risk every day to serve those devastated by war, disaster, famine and disease.
