SAHBA SALONS
Sahba Salons is a nomadic community and event series that brings together intrepid artists, scholars, scientists, and thinkers to celebrate and uplift the work of diverse and often under-represented creatives. Events are hosted approximately four times per year in Sahba's Palo Alto and Palm Springs studios and typically feature a talk by a featured artist, writer, performer, or thinker followed by an open conversation. Through the lively exchange of ideas and support, Sahba Salons strives to be a catalyst for passionate individuals to realize their vision and inspire us all along the way.
Sunday, August 24 | 2–4 PM | Palo Alto Studio
Join us for the next Sahba Salon, featuring writer Vibha Akkaraju and excerpts from her memoir Like Ketchup on Roti. Vibha’s poignant storytelling explores migration, belonging, and what it means to create a home while navigating between cultures. We’ll gather for an intimate reading and conversation that promises to spark reflection and connection.
The reading will be followed by open conversation—come as you are, ready to listen, reflect, and connect.
Space is limited—please RSVP HERE.
